Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote Hamilton as a way to deliver the story of "America then, as told by America now". Hamilton delivers on this goal by casting minorities to play the Founding Fathers such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton. Trey Curtis, Jared Dixon, Tamar Greene, and Stephanie Jae Park are a few of the many minority actors who currently star in Hamilton.
