Hamilton began in 2015, Hamilton went on to take home 8 Drama Desk Awards, 11 Tony Awards from 18 nominations, and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize.
Miranda and the cast of Hamilton seek to tell the history of "America then, as told by America now." To do so, Hamilton places ethnic minority actors as the American Founding Fathers and other major roles.
