Raise your wands, because it’s nothing but magic!
‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2’ is the conclusion of the epic film series and sequel of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1’, following the story of a young wizard and his friends facing evil forces seeking to destroy the Wizarding World as it is. In this final installment, Harry Potter and his two sidekicks, Ron and Hermione, continue their quest to find and destroy the magical items in which the evil Lord Voldemort stored parts of his soul to ensure his survival. By destroying these horcruxes, they will be able to stop the evil forces of Lord Voldemort and his cronies once and for all.
The story is based upon the 2007 novel ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ by J.K. Rowling. The 2011 cinematic version was received with massive success, becoming the third-best grossing film of all time, and highest grossing film released by Warner Bros, only overtaken by ‘Barbie’ in 2023. The film received nominations at the 84th Academy Awards for Best Art Direction, Best Makeup, and Best Visual Effects, and also received one British Academy Film Award, and two Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
The Grammy nominated score by Alexandre Desplat follows in the footsteps of his predecessors - originally John Williams, and later on Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper. Let’s agree on this: it is one thing watching the film on a massive high definition screen, but to add the score being performed live by a symphony orchestra to it, is something totally different! It is a unique and see-it-to-believe-it kind of experience, hitting all the right spots!
Since Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences initiated the first official global tour nine years ago, over 3 million Potterheads across 48 countries enjoyed the magical experience, now finally coming to the epic 2,791-seat Ohio Theatre Columbus. With seating spread across the main orchestra floor, loge, mezzanine, and balcony, you are guaranteed a seat suitable to every preference and budget!
