Many lifelong fans of Neil Diamond still remember when his 1976 album, A Beautiful Noise, first dropped. Hit Broadway musical celebrating Neil Diamond, now makes its way to Columbus for several premiers at the legendary Ohio Theatre in Columbus, Ohio this spring.
The jukebox musical fascinated audiences from the very beginning with a mesmerizing Broadway show and catchy songs. The story follows the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, opening in the present day with Westenberg sitting in a therapist’s office. As Diamond, he details how he can no longer sing like he used to while the doctor helps him cope with that realization throughout A Beautiful Noise. The production goes back to Diamond's childhood days, showing his introduction to music and all the good and bad times since then, including his ascension to stardom and struggle with depression. But, what die-hard fans anticipate most is reliving Diamond’s catalog of songs in the Neil Diamond Musical.
This magical two-hour-and-15-minute adventure comprises two acts, the first ending with the timeless classic Sweet Caroline, followed by a 15-minute intermission. After restocking on food and drink, rejoin the show for another hour of beautiful songs and engaging performances.

The idea for A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical came to fruition in Boston in 2022. Neil Diamond and his wife went to the opening night show. The shows producers collaborated with Neil Diamond to create a true musical spectacle.
In fall of 2022 the show made its debut on Broadway in Manhattan. It continued on Broadway through mid-2024. When the musical ended its run in NYC, the shows developers announced plans for a North American tour.
